A deadly shooting at a shopping centre in Carrollton, Texas, has left two people dead and three others injured, in what authorities describe as a targeted act stemming from a business-related dispute.

The shooting unfolded on the morning of May 5, 2026, at a busy commercial complex located in a Koreatown district north of Dallas. According to police officials, emergency responders were alerted shortly before 10 a.m. after reports of gunfire at the shopping centre.

Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.

As law enforcement began investigating the initial attack, a second shooting was reported at an apartment complex located a few miles away. Officers responding to that location found another victim dead inside the residence.

Authorities later confirmed that both incidents were linked and carried out by the same suspect.

Police identified the alleged shooter as a 69-year-old man who was known to the victims. Investigators revealed that the individuals involved had an existing business relationship and had gathered at the shopping centre for a meeting prior to the shooting.
