In a sharp escalation of the conflict, Iran has reportedly launched coordinated attacks across eight countries in response to joint strikes carried out by the United States and Israel.

Following what it described as a retaliatory move, Iran targeted military installations linked to the US and Israel in multiple countries. Israel has stated that it will continue military operations until Iran completely halts its nuclear programme. In response, Iran warned both the US and Israel, saying, “You started the war, but we will end it.”

Under what has been described as ‘Operation Fatah-e-Khaibar,’ Iran reportedly carried out simultaneous attacks in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, the UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Israel. Apart from striking Israeli targets, Iran is said to have focused on US military bases located across the region.

Reports suggest that US headquarters facilities in Bahrain were targeted, along with American bases in Qatar. Air raid sirens were heard in Bahrain. In Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh and in Iraq, Iranian missile strikes allegedly hit US military locations, causing major explosions.

Iran had earlier warned of a devastating response to US actions. According to reports, the United States suffered significant damage as eight of its bases were simultaneously targeted with missiles. Iran has further stated that all American military installations in the region remain within its strike range.

The situation continues to intensify, raising fears of a broader regional war.
