Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has issued a show-cause notice to actor Allu Arjun’s family regarding alleged illegal construction at the Allu Business Park building in Jubilee Hills. The notice, served on September 8 by Circle-18 Deputy Commissioner Sammaiah, questions why the unauthorised structure should not be demolished.
According to reports, GHMC had originally sanctioned construction on a plot measuring 1,226 square yards, with approval granted for two cellars and ground plus four floors. However, during an inspection, officials found that an illegal extension had been added to the fourth floor without obtaining prior permission.
Taking note of the violation, GHMC directed the Allu family to provide an explanation. The authorities cautioned that if the response is unsatisfactory, the extended portion of the building may face demolition.
The Allu Business Park, located on Road No. 45 in Jubilee Hills, was completed two years ago and houses Geetha Arts, Allu Arts, and other family-run ventures.
As of now, the matter remains under review, and Allu Arjun’s family has not released an official statement on the allegations. The controversy comes at a time when the superstar is in the limelight for both his professional success and growing public image.
