Raveena Tandon Shares Throwback Picture With Govinda, says Together in Dulhe Raja as ‘Fun and Enjoyable’

The beloved Bollywood duo of the 90s, Raveena Tandon and Govinda, made a lasting impression with their film “Dulhe Raja,” which premiered in theaters 27 years ago today. To commemorate this significant anniversary, Raveena shared several images from the comedic journey, along with a recent photo featuring her ‘Dulhe Raja’ co-star.

“27 years of Dulhe Raja!!!! Fun Fun and more Fun! I miss Harmeshji, Kader bhai, and everyone else who contributed to this amazing film!” she expressed in her caption.

Produced by Harmesh Malhotra, the film stars Govinda, Raveena, and Kader Khan in leading roles, supported by Johnny Lever, Prem Chopra, Asrani, Dinesh Hingoo, Viju Khote, Manmauji, Guddi Maruti, Sudhir, Veeru Krishnan, Ghanashyam Rohera, Anjana Mumtaz, Rana Jung Bahadur, and Anil Nagrath in significant parts, among others.

Turning our attention to the film’s technical team, “Dulhe Raja” features Shyam Rao Shiposkar as the cinematographer, Govind Dalwadi as the editor, and Anand–Milind as the music composers.

The storyline of “Dulhe Raja” revolves around a struggling young man named Raja (played by Govinda) who opens a fast-food restaurant directly across from a five-star hotel owned by businessman Singhania (played by Kader Khan), inciting his anger. Despite all his efforts to get rid of Raja, Singhania is unsuccessful. The situation escalates when Singhania’s daughter Kiran (played by Raveena) reveals her desire to marry Raja.

In another piece of news, back in June, Raveena received recognition from Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for her dedication to various social and environmental initiatives. The ‘Maatr’ actress was honored by the CM during this year’s World Environment Day.

On her Instagram, she shared, “I am honored for my contributions to the Environment, receiving this recognition from the esteemed chief minister @devendra_fadnavis ji. On #environmentday and Birthday babies dinner, @reshma_thadani, #chayamalaney #5thjune, and to top it all off, one little rescued baby kitty found a home. Thank you @petaindia for taking care of her until we could adopt her.”
