Tennis player Radhika Yadav was fatally shot by her father in Gurugram.

Gurugram: According to police reports, state-level tennis player Radhika Yadav was reportedly shot and killed by her father on Thursday at their residence in Sushant Lok, Gurugram.
The father has been taken into custody, as officials stated. The motive behind the incident is still under investigation.

Police sources indicated that the father allegedly discharged more than five bullets at his daughter, resulting in her immediate death.

A police team arrived at the residence and took the body into their custody.

“We are currently questioning family members. An investigation is ongoing, and we expect to have a clearer understanding soon,” stated Inspector Vinod Kumar, the SHO of the Sector 56 police station.

The family resides in Sushant Lok-Phase 2, Sector 57.
