A fresh political controversy has emerged in West Bengal after senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader and Member of Parliament Saugata Roy wrote to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, seeking immediate intervention over a series of alleged attacks targeting leaders of the ruling party in the state. In his communication to the Home Minister, Roy expressed serious concern over what he described as a pattern of disruptive and aggressive acts directed at TMC leaders.
