The acclaimed series ‘Panchayat’ is gearing up for its return with Season 5.

Following the tremendous success of the fourth season, Prime Video and TVF made an official announcement regarding the next installment on Monday.

This exciting news was revealed on Prime Video’s Instagram account, accompanied by a poster and the message: “Hi 5 Phulera wapas aane ki taiyyaari shuru kar lijiye.” The poster features all the main characters smiling, suggesting that the upcoming season may offer a mix of humor and challenges.

Manish Menghani, Director & Head of Content Licensing at Prime Video India, expressed in a statement, “We are truly thrilled with the outstanding response to Panchayat Season 4, which has further enhanced the series’ reputation and established new standards for genuine storytelling.”

“The remarkable viewership during its launch week across India and in over 180 countries highlights its universal appeal and profound cultural significance. With its touching narrative and relatable characters, Panchayat has become a global sensation, crossing borders and resonating with audiences through its warmth, simplicity, and authenticity,” he continued.

Season 4 showcased well-known actors such as Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, among others. It was also featured as part of Prime Video’s special content for Prime Day 2025.

With the upcoming season set for 2026, fans can eagerly anticipate more tales from the village of Phulera and its inhabitants.
