The creators of Rishab Shetty’s eagerly awaited film Kantara: Chapter 1 unveiled a poster to celebrate the actor’s 42nd birthday.

On their Instagram account, Hombale Films posted a poster showcasing Rishab Shetty, depicted with a battle axe in one hand and a shield in the other.

In the poster, Shetty is dressed in tribal warrior attire, suggesting some stunning visuals in the film.

While sharing the poster, Hombale stated, “Where legends are born and the roar of the wild echoes. #Kantara – A prequel to the masterpiece that moved millions. Wishing the trailblazing force behind the legend, @rishabshettyofficial a divine and glorious birthday. The much-awaited prequel to the divine cinematic phenomenon. #KantaraChapter1 roars into cinemas worldwide on October 2nd, 2025.”

Shetty also received the esteemed National Award for Best Actor for Kantara, which became a pan-India success in 2022.

“This has been possible because of my entire team. I’m just the face of the film; it is all due to their hard work,” he told ANI upon receiving the national award.

Kantara narrates the story of Kadubettu Shiva, a Kambala champion, who confronts a principled forest range officer.
