A fresh political confrontation unfolded in West Bengal after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of deliberately preventing a Trinamool Congress (TMC) protest march related to the alleged rape and murder of a young woman in Baruipur.
