‘Wait for 15 Days, Truth Will Emerge’: Yogi Adityanath Defends SIT Probe Into Ram Mandir Donation Allegations

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has appealed for patience amid allegations surrounding missing donations at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, asserting that the truth will become clear once the Special Investigation Team (SIT) completes its inquiry.

Addressing the controversy, the chief minister said people should wait for 15 days and allow investigators to carry out their work without interference. He emphasized that facts, rather than speculation, should determine the outcome of the issue.

SIT Investigation Underway

The Uttar Pradesh government recently constituted a three-member SIT to investigate claims of irregularities related to donations received at the Ram Mandir. The probe was launched after allegations triggered political debate and public concern regarding the handling of funds contributed by devotees.

According to officials, the team has been tasked with conducting a detailed examination and presenting its findings within a specified timeframe.

Chief Minister Criticises Political Reactions

During his remarks, Yogi Adityanath also criticized opposition parties over their response to the controversy. He accused political rivals of attempting to exploit the matter for political gain and questioned their sudden concern for the sentiments of Ram devotees.

The chief minister maintained that his government is committed to transparency and that no one involved in wrongdoing would be spared if irregularities are established.

Investigation Expands

As part of the ongoing inquiry, investigators have reportedly questioned several individuals connected with the temple’s administrative and donation management systems. The SIT has intensified its efforts to verify procedures related to counting offerings and maintaining records.

The investigation has attracted national attention because of the religious significance of the Ram Mandir and the immense faith associated with the shrine.

Political Debate Continues

The allegations have sparked demands from various opposition leaders for independent oversight and greater transparency regarding temple finances. At the same time, supporters of the government’s decision argue that the SIT process should be allowed to conclude before any conclusions are drawn.

The issue has become a major political talking point in Uttar Pradesh, with different parties offering contrasting views on the credibility and scope of the investigation.

Reiterating confidence in the probe, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged the public not to rush to judgment and insisted that the truth would emerge after the investigation is completed. With the SIT continuing its work, attention now remains focused on the findings expected in the coming days.
