A major milestone in India’s aviation infrastructure journey was achieved as Noida International Airport in Jewar officially commenced commercial passenger operations with the successful arrival of its first scheduled flight from Lucknow. The inaugural commercial service was operated by IndiGo, with flight 6E-2278 touching down at the newly developed airport amid celebrations by airport authorities, government officials, airline representatives, and aviation stakeholders.
