Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani Seek Blessings at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple

Mumbai: Actress Avika Gor, famed for her role as a child actor in Balika Vadhu, and her fiancé Milind Chandwani visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple on Monday, September 22, ahead of their upcoming wedding.

The couple sought blessings and offered their first wedding card at the temple, marking a special pre-wedding ritual. During the visit, they also distributed sweets to the paparazzi present outside the temple.

Avika and Milind are set to tie the knot on September 30, and their wedding episodes will be broadcast on October 10 and 11 as part of the reality show Pati Patni Panga, hosted by Munawar Faruqui and Sonali Bendre.

Speaking to the Hindustan Times, Avika revealed that she will embrace a traditional red bridal outfit, while guests have been requested to wear pastel shades to avoid color clashes. She expressed her love for the pastel trend popular among Bollywood brides but emphasized her childhood dream of a traditional wedding.

Reflecting on her decision to marry on national television, the 28-year-old actress said she has been in the public eye since 2008 and wanted her fans, who have been part of her journey, to share in this milestone.

Recalling a childhood memory, she added, “I always used to tell my parents, ‘I will either do a court marriage that no one will get to know about, or it’s going to be a grand wedding that the whole world will celebrate with me.’ It feels like my childhood dream is coming true with this new chapter.”
