Actress Elli AvrRam shared heartbreaking news with her fans on Tuesday, revealing that her grandmother passed away on August 31, 2025. Taking to Instagram, Elli posted an emotional note along with cherished pictures and videos of her beloved grandmother, whom she affectionately called Jiajiam.

Expressing her grief, Elli wrote, “Rip Jiajiam 😭❤️🙏 31-08-2025. It’s been a blessing to grow up with my grandparents. Despite the heartbreak of knowing the journey of my grandmother has now ended in this dimension, I’m at peace, knowing she’s now united with papou (grandpa)👫.”

She further added, “All I can do is remember all the beautiful moments I have got to share with her since my childhood. She had the funniest dark humour and our kitchen conversations were always endless! Many of you got to witness her on my stories during the years, until dementia took over too much…”

Fans and industry friends flooded her post with condolences. Actor Manish Paul commented, “Please accept my condolences 🙏🏼 om shanti (sic).” Many followers also expressed their sympathy, with one writing, “So sorry to hear about your Grand Parent… May her soul rest in peace.”

On the work front, Elli was recently seen in the music video Chandaniya alongside YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, which sparked dating rumors that later turned out to be false. She also appeared in a cameo role in Abhishek Bachchan’s film Be Happy, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video earlier this year.
