Janhvi Kapoor & Sidharth Malhotra Mobbed at Lalbaugcha Raja Ahead of Param Sundari Release

Bollywood stars Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra visited Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal on Thursday, August 28, to seek blessings during Ganeshotsav, just a day before the release of their upcoming film Param Sundari.

Videos and photos from their visit have gone viral on social media, showing the actors making their way into the pandal amid heavy security. Despite the arrangements, both Janhvi and Sidharth were mobbed by a massive crowd of devotees, making it difficult for them to move freely.

In one video shared by a paparazzo account, Janhvi Kapoor appeared visibly uncomfortable as fans surrounded her while she tried to enter the pandal for darshan. Sidharth Malhotra was also seen being escorted by security personnel as the situation grew chaotic.

Director Tushar Jalota, who helmed Param Sundari, also accompanied the actors to the pandal. Another clip circulating online shows the team leaving the venue after offering prayers. Celebrity visits to Lalbaugcha Raja during Ganeshotsav are a yearly tradition, but managing the huge turnout of devotees continues to be a major challenge.

Param Sundari is a cross-cultural love story featuring Sidharth as a lively North Indian man named Param and Janhvi as Sundari, a South Indian beauty. The film marks the first on-screen pairing of the two actors. With its trailer and music already creating buzz, Param Sundari is slated for a theatrical release on August 29. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan.
