Chennai: Actor Ravi Mohan has officially announced his directorial debut with the film titled An Ordinary Man, starring popular comedian and actor Yogi Babu in the lead role. The film’s promo was unveiled at a star-studded event at the Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam on Tuesday by Karunada Chakravarthy Dr. Shiva Rajkumar. The launch also marked the inauguration of Ravi Mohan’s production house, Ravi Mohan Studios.

The promo showcases a humorous conversation between Yogi Babu and Ravi Mohan on the rooftop of a multi-storey building. Ravi Mohan shares his plans to direct a film, to which Yogi Babu initially reacts with playful skepticism. However, once Ravi Mohan reveals that Yogi Babu will play the lead, the actor praises him enthusiastically.

The teaser highlights Ravi Mohan’s creative process as he experiments with different character looks for Yogi Babu, from a boxer to a gangster and even an astronaut. Ultimately, the ordinary nightwear worn by Yogi Babu is chosen, inspiring the title of the film, An Ordinary Man. Ravi Mohan notes that there is nothing more extraordinary than the story of an ordinary man.

In addition to the promo of An Ordinary Man, teasers for two other projects under Ravi Mohan Studios were launched at the event. The teaser for Bro Code, directed by Karthik Yogi, was released by Genelia Deshmukh and Riteish Deshmukh, while the teaser for Kaakhi Squad was unveiled by actor Sivakarthikeyan.
