Gujarat Vidhan Sabha monsoon session schedule announced, to begin on Sept 8

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Legislative Assembly’s Monsoon Session is set to begin on September 8 and will last for three days.

The Assembly Speaker, Shankar Chaudhary, provided information about the session, stating, “Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat has called for the seventh session of the 15th Legislative Assembly. This monsoon session will take place over three days, specifically on September 8, 9, and 10.”

Chaudhary also revealed the schedule for submitting starred questions. MLAs are allowed to submit their starred question notices starting today, August 8, and continuing until August 20.

“During the three-day session, the GST (Amendment) Bill and the Factory Act (Amendment) Bill are anticipated to be presented in the Assembly,” the Speaker noted. A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee is scheduled for September 6, Saturday.
