Mumbai: The father of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera, Sunder Singh Jolly, has passed away today. Salman visited Shera’s residence to offer his condolences after the last rites for his father were conducted.

In the footage, Salman was observed arriving with heightened security. He exited his vehicle and embraced Shera to provide comfort. Subsequently, they both proceeded into the building.

Shera, whose actual name is Gurmeet Singh Jolly, has been a long-time associate of Salman. He released an official statement regarding his father’s passing this morning, stating, “My father Shri Sunder Singh Jolly has departed for his heavenly abode today. The final journey will commence at 4 PM from my home at 1902, The Park luxury Residences, Off Lokhandwala Back Road, Oshiwara, Andheri West, Mumbai. The cremation will occur at Oshiwara Crematorium, Jogeshwari West… in sorrow, Shera.”

The announcement of his father’s passing came just a few months following the celebration of his 88th birthday. On his Instagram, Shera posted a photo with his father, writing, “Happy 88th birthday to the strongest man, my God, my father, my inspiration! Every ounce of strength in me is derived from you. Love you always, dad! #MyHero #88YearsStrong #HappyBirthday #Shera #hbd #blessed.”

The bhog and ardas ceremony for Shera’s late father, Sunder Singh Jolly, is scheduled to take place on August 10 at Gurudwara, 4 Bungalows, Mumbai.
