Amaravati, July 14  A tragic incident occurred when a lorry carrying mangoes overturned onto a mini truck near Reddycheruvu in Annamayya district, resulting in the deaths of nine individuals and injuries to eleven others, according to police reports on Monday.

More than 20 people were riding on top of the mango truck.

The collision took place late Sunday night, as stated by a police official.

“The accident happened when the rear wheel of the lorry became lodged in the sand, causing it to lose balance and topple onto the mini truck,” the police official explained.
