Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, sharing the stage with cousin Raj Thackeray after two decades on Saturday, took a swipe at the ruling Mahayuti with a popular dialogue from the film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.
The Thackeray brothers came together on Saturday to celebrate the Maharashtra government’s decision to withdraw Hindi as an optional third language. The joint event, titled ‘Awaj Marathicha’, marked their reunion after two decades.
“How helpless should I be? I’ve seen the film Pushpa. If I had a beard like him, I too would’ve said, ‘Jhukega nahi saala,'” said Uddhav during his address at the joint rally in Mumbai.
