The FBI has placed 40-year-old Cindy Rodriguez Singh on its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list due to her alleged involvement in the murder of her six-year-old son, Noel Alvarez.

Cindy is a US citizen with ties to India and Mexico, making her the 537th person to be added to this list since it began in 1950, according to the FBI.

  • Noel Alvarez’s disappearance raised concerns.

Noel was last seen in October 2022, shortly after his mother gave birth to twins. On March 20, 2023, the Everman Police Department performed a welfare check on him at the request of Texas Child Protective Services.

During questioning, Rodriguez Singh falsely stated that Noel was with his biological father in Mexico.

However, just two days later, on March 22, 2023, Singh, along with her husband Arshdeep Singh and six other children, took an international flight to India, leaving Noel behind.

She has not been located since and is thought to be hiding in either India or Mexico.
