The body of a woman, believed to be between 30 and 35 years old, was found stuffed in a sack and discarded in a garbage truck in Bengaluru. The identity of the woman remains unknown. Authorities have stated that the body has been sent for an autopsy and a case has been filed.
CCTV footage from the vicinity captures the suspect arriving in an auto-rickshaw and disposing of the sack in the garbage truck. Police are actively searching for the perpetrators based on the footage. A case has been filed at the Channammanakere Achchukattu Police Station. C Vamsi Krishna, the Joint Commissioner of Police in Bengaluru, reported that the sack was thrown into the garbage truck between 1 am and 3 am.
“The woman’s hands and neck were bound, and her body was inside a gunny bag. The BBMP staff alerted us about the body. We have opened a murder investigation and are looking into the case,” he stated.
