Officials said the teenager disappeared over the weekend after allegedly being contacted online by a 27-year-old man identified as Christopher Jones from Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Investigators believe the suspect used the messaging platform Discord to establish communication with the girl before persuading her to leave her home. According to investigators, the girl was eventually located safely following intensive tracking and intelligence-sharing efforts.
