A 22-year-old medical student from North India has come into the spotlight after reports revealed that he earned thousands of dollars using a fake AI-generated Instagram model named “Emily Hart”.
The student, who reportedly identified himself as Sam said he had earlier tried different ways to earn money, like making Youtube videos and selling study notes and was trying everything to fund his medical degree, but was not successful.
According to reports, he then used AI tools like Google Gemini, which suggested targeting a “MAGA/conservative” audience in US. After this, in January 2025, he created “Emily Hart,” a fake character shown as a nurse and inspired by actress Jennifer Lawrence.
He posted pictures and videos of this AI model doing things like ice fishing, drinking, and using a rifle. He reportedly said he posted daily content supporting topics like Christianity, gun rights, anti-abortion, and anti-immigration. He explained that this type of content helped him connect with a specific audience.
Soon, his account became very popular. His reels started getting millions of views, sometimes 3 million, 5 million, or even 10 million. He also made a profile for Emily Hart on Fanvue, where people paid money for content and messages. He also sold MAGA-themed T-shirts to earn more, as per reports.
Sam reportedly said he was spending only 30–50 minutes daily and still earning good money. He also said that in India, it is not easy to earn this much even in a normal job.
However, reports say his Instagram account was later banned for “fraud.” After earning money, he has now stopped this and is focusing on his medical studies again, added the reports.
