Asim Munir has made a new threat to India regarding Kashmir following his comments about the region being a ‘jugular vein’, labeling terrorism as a ‘legitimate struggle’

Pakistan’s Army Chief and self-styled Field Marshal, Asim Munir, has once again threatened India and reiterated his “Free Kashmir” rhetoric following his hateful “jugular vein” comment.

During a speech at the Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi on Saturday, Munir accused India — without providing any evidence — of being responsible for the recent escalation in tensions after the 22 April terror attack in Pahalgam.

However, it is an undeniable fact that Pakistan, through its proxy organizations, persists in its terrorism policy against India. Whenever India acts in self-defense, Islamabad redirects the blame onto India. Munir characterized Pakistan as a “net regional stabilizer” and asserted that Islamabad has effectively responded to what he termed “unprovoked” Indian military actions.

“In spite of provocations, Pakistan has demonstrated restraint and maturity, reaffirming its dedication to regional peace,” he stated.
