Iran launched a fresh missile attack targeting a financial centre building in Dubai on Friday, according to reports. Authorities in Dubai confirmed that the missiles were successfully intercepted before they could cause major damage.

The Dubai Media Office, in a post on X, said that debris from the interception caused minor damage to the façade of a building in central Dubai. However, no injuries were reported in the incident.

“Authorities confirm that debris from a successful interception caused a minor incident on the façade of a building in central Dubai. No injuries have been reported,” the statement said.

According to reports, the attack is believed to be in retaliation for a recent incident in which one of Iran’s oldest banks was targeted. The situation has added to the rising tensions in the region amid the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict.
