In the early morning of March 9, Iran’s fresh drone hit the Sitra city of Bahrain, which left 32 citizens injured, including children. Four citizens are believed to be in critical condition, as per reports.
Reportedly, the health ministry of Bahrain confirmed Iran’s drone attack in the Sitra city of Bahrain early morning on Monday. In this attack, two children aged seven and eight had serious injuries to their lower limbs.
Bahrain intercepts missiles and drones
Since the start of Iranian attacks, there were 164 drones and 95 ballistic missiles intercepted by the air defence system of the country, the Bahrain Defence Force General Command reported. The BDF praised its personnel for their combat readiness and operational excellence, reaffirming that Bahrain’s airspace remains secure. Reportedly, the force also condemned Iran for targeting civilians and private property with missiles and drones that violate international law.
The ministries of both Saudi Arabia and the UAE also confirmed that their air defence system also intercepted fresh incoming missiles and drones launched from Iran.
