The Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced that it will release nearly 50,000 additional Epstein files by the end of this week.

Reportedly, these additional files will disclose the documents of unverified allegations of sexual abuse and misconduct against disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019, while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, and about President Trump, who had a friendship with this offender in the 1990s and early 2000s.

The report also suggests that the upcoming files will also disclose the three interviews of a woman given to the FBI in 2019, where she claimed to have been abused by Epstein as a minor during the mid -1980s, but was found to be ineligible for compensation that was paid out to more than 130 other victims.

Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act signed by Trump in November, the DOJ is obligated to release all its files related to the Epstein case, with redactions only made to protect victims or ongoing investigations. Following this law, the DOJ released over 3 million Epstein files till now, in which more than 2,000 videos and 1,80,000 images were included, and shocked the whole world after powerful people’s names came out.
