The gunman who killed two people and wounded 14 others at Austin’s packed bar in USA was believed to be motivated by the attacks on Iran, as the FBI  recovered a  Quran from his car, and  the Iranian flag design on the t-shirt he wore, as per report.

Authorities are reportedly investigating whether the gunman, Ndiaga Diagne, 53, who fatally shot two people and wounded 14 others at a popular bar in Austin’s Sixth Street entertainment district early Sunday, was motivated by the US military operation in Iran.​

According to the reports citing police, cops had killed the gunman during the incident and later found that he wore a hoodie that read “Property of Allah” over a T-shirt bearing an Iranian flag design as he opened fire on weekend revelers at Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden. . Following the incident, police  found a Quran in the SUV he drove to the area.

​As per reports, Diagne first came to the United States on a tourist visa in 2000 and was granted lawful permanent resident status six years later, after marrying a US citizen.
