“We are heartbroken to share that Avtar Singh Bullt, a beloved sevadaar of Tracy Gurdwara Sahib, tragically lost his life after being kidnapped. What began as a deeply concerning disappearance has ended in an unimaginable loss for his family and the entire Sangat,” said the page set up by Gurdwara Gur Nanak Parkash of Tracy.
As per the page, Avtar Singh served the Gurdwara Sahib for over 20 years.
“He is survived by his wife and their 6-month-old triplets, who now face a future without a devoted husband and father,” it added.
According to reports citing the Tracy police department, the incident happened on Sunday afternoon (US time). Singh was outside the gurdwara when some unknown men forced him into a vehicle and quickly drove away from the area.
After several hours of investigation, authorities reportedly found Singh’s body in a nearby location.
Investigators believe the case could be linked to a personal dispute, but they said it is too early to confirm the motive.
