Bengaluru: The southwest monsoon has intensified over Karnataka, bringing relief from rising temperatures as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts light to moderate rainfall in Bengaluru on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
The city is expected to remain cloudy throughout the day, with temperatures ranging between 21°C and 25°C and humidity at around 88 percent. Sunset is expected at 6:15 PM, keeping conditions mild and pleasant.
The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) issued a seven-day forecast on X, predicting scattered to widespread light to moderate showers and isolated heavy rainfall across the north interior districts, with coastal, Malnad, and south interior regions expected to receive similar rainfall from September 26.

Air quality remains favorable, with an AQI of around 30 indicating good conditions. Authorities have warned of temporary power outages, minor traffic disruptions, and the possibility of weak tree branches falling due to the rain.
Residents have been advised to stay indoors where possible and secure windows and doors.
