Three BTech Students Killed in Greater Noida After Bike Collides with Water Tanker

Greater Noida: A tragic accident occurred on Sunday evening in Greater Noida, claiming the lives of three BTech students from Gautam Buddha University when their motorcycle collided with a slow-moving water tanker.

The victims — Swam Sagar and Kush Upadhyay from Ghaziabad, and Samarth Pundir from Bareilly — were reportedly heading out for dinner and were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident.

According to police reports, the students were approaching an underpass when their bike struck the tanker, which was moving slowly while watering roadside trees.

The collision left all three critically injured. Passersby immediately alerted authorities and rushed the injured to Jeeyar Integrative Medical Services Hospital.

Doctors declared Sagar and Upadhyay dead on arrival, while Pundir was transferred to Fortis Hospital for advanced treatment. Despite medical intervention, Pundir also succumbed to his injuries.

The police have taken the victims’ bodies for post-mortem examination and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.

The incident highlights the importance of road safety and helmet use among young riders.
