Hyderabad: Telugu superstar Jr NTR sustained a minor injury while shooting for an advertisement in Hyderabad, according to a statement released by his team.

The actor has been advised by doctors to rest for the next couple of weeks to ensure full recovery. The statement read, “Mr. NTR sustained a minor injury today while shooting for an advertisement. On medical advice, he will be resting for the next couple of weeks to ensure a complete recovery. His condition is stable and there is no cause for concern. We sincerely request fans, media, and the public to refrain from any speculation.”

Fans of Jr NTR have expressed concern and flooded social media with messages wishing him a speedy recovery. Many fans tweeted words of support, including “Get well soon anna” and “More strength to you, @tarak9999.”

Jr NTR made his Bollywood debut earlier this year with War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Hrithik Roshan.

While the actor’s performance was well-received, the film failed to make a significant impact at the box office, collecting ₹236.55 crore against a reported budget of ₹400 crore.

Looking ahead, Jr NTR will next star in the upcoming film by KGF director Prashanth Neel.

Shooting for the project began in April 2025, and it is slated for a June 2026 release. Fans are eagerly anticipating this collaboration, hoping for a major success for the Telugu star.
