PM Modi Hails Operation Sindoor, Says ‘New India Doesn’t Fear Nuclear Threats’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday hailed the Indian armed forces for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, saying it brought Pakistan “to its knees within the blink of an eye.”

Addressing a public rally in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi said the nation gives the highest priority to the security of Maa Bharti (Mother India) and that Operation Sindoor was a fitting response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.

“Our brave armed forces destroyed terror camps and avenged the loss of our sisters and daughters. Yesterday, the country and the world saw a Pakistani terrorist tearfully narrate his ordeal. This is the New India, which does not fear any nuclear threats. It enters the enemy’s house and strikes,” PM Modi said, referring to a viral video of a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander admitting the losses his group suffered.

Reports suggest that Indian strikes on May 7 targeted the JeM headquarters in Bahawalpur, leaving the family of terror mastermind Masood Azhar devastated.

Apart from addressing national security, PM Modi marked his 75th birthday by launching the ‘Swasth Nari Shashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’ and inaugurating several development projects in the state. He also launched the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah campaign, inaugurated the ‘Aadi Seva Parv’, and laid the foundation stone for the PM Mitra Park in Bhainsola village.

The integrated textile park, which is the largest in the country, is expected to boost India’s textile industry, ensure farmers get fair value for their produce, and create employment opportunities for the youth.

PM Modi congratulated citizens on these initiatives, highlighting that the projects would bring new energy to the region’s economy.

Meanwhile, celebrations for PM Modi’s milestone 75th birthday were seen across the nation, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organizing a two-week-long ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ featuring multiple social service activities and events.
