Mumbai: Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh had nothing but praise for Aryan Khan after their recent collaboration on the song Tenu Ki Pata from Aryan’s upcoming directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood*.

Shah Rukh Khan recently shared a behind-the-scenes video from the making of the track, where Aryan and Diljit could be seen laughing and enjoying themselves in the studio.

Sharing the video, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “A heartfelt thanks and big jhappi to Diljit paaji….you are too kind and sweet. Hope Aryan didn’t trouble you too much. Love you @diljitdosanjh #TenuKiPata out now.”

Responding to SRK, Diljit heaped praise on Aryan, saying, “Sir, Aryan is very dear. The first time I met him in the studio, it felt like I was meeting you, which was shocking for me. Aryan can play the guitar and sings just as well. When I was dubbing the song, he knew every single note. God bless him.”

The song Tenu Ki Pata is picturised on actor Manoj Pahwa and reflects the chaotic, ambitious world Aryan has created in his directorial project.

The track blends bold beats, infectious rhythms, and Punjabi essence with modern production. Rapper Badshah also appears in the music video, clashing with Pahwa’s character.

Composed, arranged, and produced by Ujwal Gupta with lyrics by Kumaar, Tenu Ki Pata is the third song from the show after Badli Si Hawa Hai and Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri.

The trailer of The Ba**ds of Bollywood* was released recently, offering viewers a raw glimpse into the underbelly of Bollywood. The series is set to release on Netflix on September 18.
