Bengaluru Weather Update: IMD Forecasts Light Rainfall and Cloudy Skies on September 10

Bengaluru continues to experience pleasant monsoon weather as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rainfall and cloudy skies for Wednesday, September 10, 2025. The city, which has seen intermittent showers over the past few days, is expected to remain under cloud cover throughout the day, keeping the temperatures mild.

According to the IMD, Bengaluru’s minimum temperature is likely to be around 21°C, while the maximum will hover near 27°C. The sun rose at 6:09 AM, and sunset is expected at 6:26 PM.

With rain and cloudy conditions, the city’s weather is expected to stay comfortable, though humidity levels may reach up to 91 percent, making the air feel damp.

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a seven-day forecast on X, noting that scattered light to moderate rainfall is likely across Karnataka, with heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds in northern interior districts.

Residents in Bengaluru have been advised to stay indoors during showers, keep windows and doors closed, and remain cautious as rainfall could lead to minor traffic disruptions, temporary power cuts, and uprooting of weak tree branches.

The Southwest Monsoon, which drives rainfall across South Asia from June to September, remains active in Karnataka. The IMD further indicated that Bengaluru will continue to see mostly cloudy skies with one or two spells of rain or thunderstorms daily over the coming days.

Humidity is expected to remain between 65 and 85 percent, keeping conditions slightly muggy despite cooler temperatures.
