Actress and television personality Malaika Arora has sold her luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Andheri West for ₹5.30 crore, according to property registration documents accessed via the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website, as reported by real estate platform Square Yards. The transaction was officially registered in August 2025.

The apartment, located in the prestigious Runwal Elegante project in Lokhandwala Complex, spans a carpet area of 1,369 sq. ft. and a built-up area of 1,643 sq. ft., and includes one car parking space. The sale attracted a stamp duty of ₹31.08 lakh and registration charges of ₹30,000. Malaika had purchased the property in March 2018 for ₹3.26 crore, yielding a profit of approximately ₹2.04 crore, marking a 62% appreciation over seven years.

Andheri West remains a prime real estate hub in western Mumbai, offering luxury residences, strong social infrastructure, and excellent connectivity via the Western Express Highway, suburban railway, SV Road, and the Versova–Ghatkopar Metro corridor. The area has recently attracted several celebrities, including Kajol, Randeep Hooda, Jaideep Ahlawat, Gurmeet Choudhary, Gauahar Khan, Zaid Darbar, Ronit Bose Roy, and Kartik Aaryan, who have purchased properties there.

On the professional front, Malaika was last seen as a judge on Hip Hop India Season 2 and is reportedly working on a project dedicated to her late father. She is also set to feature in a special dance number for the film Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. In addition, she turned entrepreneur last year with her Bandra-based restaurant, Scarlett House, which has become a popular celebrity hangout.
