New Delhi: Delhi Police arrested a 31-year-old private airline pilot, Mohit Priyadarshi, from Agra’s Civil Lines area for allegedly filming a woman using a hidden spy camera. The arrest was carried out by officers from PS Kishangarh, South West District, after a complaint was lodged by the victim.
The accused reportedly attempted to record the complainant at Shani Bazar without her consent using a lighter-shaped hidden camera. Following the complaint on the night of August 30, the police registered a case under sections 77/78 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). CCTV footage from the area was reviewed, and with assistance from local intelligence, Priyadarshi was tracked down and arrested.
During interrogation, the pilot admitted to filming the videos for personal gratification. Police recovered the hidden camera device from his possession. Authorities confirmed that the accused is unmarried and employed with a private airline. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates are awaited.
