NEET UG 2025 Round 2 counselling has officially commenced today, September 4, 2025, as the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) opened registration for candidates seeking MBBS and BDS seats through its official portal at mcc.nic.in. The registration and fee payment window will remain open until 3:00 PM on September 9, 2025, and applicants are encouraged to register early to avoid last-minute issues.

Candidates can fill in their preferred choices for colleges and courses from September 5 to September 9, with the choice-locking facility available on September 9, from 4:00 PM to 11:55 PM. The MCC will process seat allotments on September 10 and 11, and the Round 2 results will be announced on September 12.

Shortlisted candidates must report to their allotted institutes between September 13 and September 19, while colleges will verify the admitted students’ data on September 20 and 21.
