In a disturbing incident in Bengaluru, a woman was allegedly molested and robbed by a masked intruder inside a girls’ PG near Suddaguntepalya police station. The crime took place in the early hours of Friday, August 29, around 3 AM. CCTV footage from the lobby of the PG captured the masked man attacking the woman as she tried to resist, and the shocking video has since gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the accused entered the PG late at night and broke into one of the dorm rooms where the victim was sleeping. Initially, the woman thought her roommate had returned, but she woke up to find herself being molested by the intruder. When she tried to resist, the man, reportedly armed with a knife, threatened to stab her if she raised an alarm.

As per the FIR, the assailant demanded money and stole ₹2,500 from the victim before fleeing the scene. It was further reported that he had locked other dorm rooms from outside to prevent anyone from helping the victim during the attack.

The shocking crime has raised serious concerns about the safety of women living alone in PG accommodations and hostels in Bengaluru. Police have launched an investigation, and efforts are on to identify and nab the accused.
