The Indian Prime Minister arrived in Tokyo on Friday for the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit, where both nations adopted a joint vision titled “India – Japan Joint Vision for the Next Decade: Eight Directions to Steer the Special Strategic and Global Partnership.”

The eight focus areas include economic partnership, economic security, next-gen mobility, ecological sustainability, technology and innovation, healthcare, people-to-people exchanges, and state-prefecture partnerships.

Following his Japan visit, PM Modi will head to Tianjin, China, to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, where he is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines.
