Varanasi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday organized a Janata Darshan at the Circuit House in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where he personally addressed grievances of more than 100 citizens.
The Chief Minister went to each complainant individually, collected applications, and handed them over to the concerned officials, including the Commissioner, Police Commissioner, and District Magistrate, directing them to ensure quick resolution and provide timely feedback.
The complaints covered a wide range of issues, including sewer connections, road construction, land disputes, demands for compensation, a digital library for the visually impaired, and affordable halls for artists.
Matters related to police functioning and revenue services were also raised during the session. Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the government’s top priority is to “serve, protect, and respect citizens,” adding that continuous efforts are being made to bring happiness to every household.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister also engaged warmly with children accompanying complainants, asking them about their studies and motivating them to work hard for a bright future.
Several government ministers, local representatives, and senior administrative as well as police officials were present at the Janata Darshan to assist in addressing public issues effectively.
