The much-anticipated teaser for Baahubali: The Epic has finally been released, delighting fans of the iconic franchise. The film merges the two blockbuster hits, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, into one monumental cinematic experience. The teaser, unveiled on Tuesday, features star-studded performances by Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia.
Running for 1 minute and 17 seconds, the teaser revisits some of the most iconic moments from both films, opening with the powerful line: “10 years ago, a story redefined Indian cinema. Two films. One name.” The re-release marks the 10th anniversary of Baahubali: The Beginning (originally released on July 10, 2015) and was announced by director S.S. Rajamouli as a special treat for fans.
Baahubali: The Epic is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 31, 2025, offering audiences a chance to relive the grandeur of Mahishmati on the big screen. While this is not a new installment in the franchise, it brings a fresh cinematic experience with an extended runtime of 5 hours and 27 minutes, including spectacular 4DX effects.
Fans have flooded social media with excitement, expressing their admiration: “Re-release thone – 100Cr pakka!! Jai Prabhas ~ Jai Mahishmati,” “Baahubali in 4DX — unexpected!” and “No one would ever touch and match this Indian masterpiece.”
The original Baahubali: The Beginning collected around Rs 650 crore worldwide, while its sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, became one of India’s highest-grossing films, earning Rs 1788.06 crore globally. The teaser highlights Prabhas as Mahendra and Amarendra Baahubali, Rana Daggubati as Bhallaladeva, Anushka Shetty as Devasena, Tamannaah as Avantika, Sathyaraj as Kattappa, and Ramya Krishnan as Sivagami, culminating in the iconic shot of Baahubali being held aloft in water, promising an unforgettable cinematic experience.
Baahubali: The Epic will release in theatres on October 31, 2025.
