Rinku Singh, the star batter and Kolkata Knight Riders player, has revealed that he has sent a wedding invitation to KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan for his upcoming marriage to Member of Parliament Priya Saroj. The couple, who got engaged earlier this year, held a private engagement ceremony on June 8 at the luxurious Centrum Hotel in Lucknow. Priya Saroj was seen shedding tears of joy as they exchanged rings.

Speaking to News24, Rinku mentioned, “I have invited Shah Rukh Sir to my wedding as well. Let’s see if he comes.” Back in 2023, the Bollywood superstar had promised to attend Rinku’s wedding and even dance at the function. The cricketer also noted that SRK could not attend his engagement due to a busy shooting schedule, though KKR CEO Venky Mysore was present.

When asked about the wedding date, Rinku shared that it is likely to happen later this year, possibly in November 2025, depending on the domestic cricket season. The couple met in 2023 at a friend’s wedding in Delhi. After a year and a half of knowing each other and building a relationship with their families’ approval, they decided to make it official.
