FIR Registered Against Tejashwi Yadav in Maharashtra Over Post on PM Modi

An FIR has been lodged against former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district for allegedly posting an objectionable comment about Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media platform X.

According to a senior police official, the case was registered following a complaint by BJP MLA Milind Narote from Gadchiroli. Narote alleged that Yadav made the controversial remark ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit to Gaya, Bihar.

The FIR has been filed under sections 196 (promoting enmity between different groups), 356 (defamation), 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace), and 353 (statements causing public mischief) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the official said.
