New Delhi: Maxfort School in Dwarka, Delhi, was evacuated on Friday morning after receiving a bomb threat via email, officials confirmed. The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received an alert at 7:05 am, prompting an immediate response.
Police teams, along with bomb disposal squads and fire tenders, rushed to the scene and began thorough searches inside the school premises located in Sector 7, Dwarka. Authorities confirmed that the entire building was evacuated as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and staff.
“Checking is underway, and all necessary security measures have been taken,” an official said. Investigations are ongoing to trace the source of the email and verify the authenticity of the threat.
