After months of anticipation, Aryan Khan finally unveiled the first look of his debut directorial project, Ba**ds Of Bollywood*, on Sunday, and he did it in true Shah Rukh Khan style. The promo hints at a gripping, unconventional take on Bollywood, offering a thrilling ride into the industry’s darker side.

The teaser opens with Aryan reciting the iconic line “Ek ladki thi deewani si” from SRK’s film Mohabbatein, before introducing lead actors Lakshya Lalwani and Sahher Bambba. However, the narrative quickly takes an unexpected turn as Aryan announces a major twist, signaling that this series is far from a typical Bollywood tale. “Thoda jyada ho gaya na? Aadat daal lo. Kyunki mera show bhi thoda jyada hai,” Aryan declares, setting the tone for a high-intensity drama exploring the underbelly of the glamorous film world.

Sharing the first look on X (formerly Twitter), Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Aap ne maanga aur Netflix ne poora kar diya….yeh thoda zyaada ho gaya nahi? Par aadat daal lo…..kyunki….The Ba**ds of Bollywood Preview will be out on August 20 (sic).”*

The promo also offers glimpses of Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, and a mysterious backshot that fans speculate could be Ranveer Singh.
