The police in Mumbai have ensured comedian Kapil Sharma’s safety following the shooting incident at his cafe in Canada, as stated by a senior police official on Monday.

The authorities have implemented sufficient security measures for Sharma, guaranteeing his protection, although specific details regarding the arrangements were not disclosed.

On August 8, gunfire was directed at Sharma’s newly launched restaurant – Kap’s Cafe – located in Surrey, British Columbia, marking the second such incident in under a month.

This venue was previously attacked on July 10, after which the Mumbai police had visited the comedian’s home in Oshiwara. The cafe officially opened its doors on July 4.
