A large fire erupted on Friday afternoon at a chemical plant located in the Sabhapur region of North East Delhi, which is under the jurisdiction of the Sonia Vihar Police Station. The event caused panic among local residents as thick black smoke rose into the sky, visible from several kilometers away.
Numerous fire engines from both Delhi and the neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh were dispatched to the scene immediately after the alert was issued. Firefighters are currently working to extinguish the flames, striving to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. Thankfully, there have been no reported casualties thus far. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and a thorough investigation will take place once the situation is stabilized.
Officials have cordoned off the area and advised residents to stay indoors due to the potential danger of toxic fumes. Emergency services and disaster management teams are prepared and on standby.

A significant fire occurred at a three-story commercial building in the Sadar Bazar area of North Delhi. More than two dozen fire engines and 100 firefighters were deployed to the scene. One firefighter sustained injuries during the operation. The fire is believed to have been ignited by a suspected short circuit.
