Mannara Chopra’s post about ‘Strength and Love’ gets a like from Priyanka Chopra

Mannara Chopra, the cousin of Priyanka Chopra and a former contestant on Bigg Boss, continues to demonstrate incredible resilience. Almost a month after her father’s passing, she returned to her professional commitments last week. Despite facing a challenging personal period, she maintained her warrior-like spirit. On Wednesday, Mannara took to Instagram to post a series of heartfelt selfies accompanied by a poignant note reflecting on her journey of “strength, love, and purpose.”

The note stated, “Taking small steps forward with strength, love, and purpose. Here’s to new light. Carry his strength.” The post showcased Mannara radiating positivity and strength as she smiled for some lovely selfies. Dressed in a multi-coloured tie-dye T-shirt and matching sunglasses, she looked stunning, effortlessly combining comfort with style. In addition to her fans, Priyanka Chopra also expressed her support by liking the post.

Just days prior to this post, Mannara Chopra released her first statement following her father’s death. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood by her during this challenging time, writing, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you’ve shown to me and my family during these tough times,” in her note.

Moreover, she updated her fans about her return to work, adding, “Resuming work now, with gratitude in my heart.”

Mannara Chopra said an emotional goodbye to her father, Raman Rai Handa, last month on June 16. He passed away in Mumbai, and the final rites were conducted by his daughters, Mannara and Mitali Handa. The actress had previously shared an official statement following her father’s passing: “With profound grief and sorrow, we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family.”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, unable to attend the funeral due to her residence overseas, honored her uncle through a social media message. On her Instagram Stories, the global icon expressed, “You’ll always be in our hearts. Rest easy, Raman uncle (fufaji). Om Shanti.”

For your information, Mannara’s father, Raman Handa, was a practicing lawyer at the Delhi High Court and is survived by his wife, Kamini, along with their daughters Mannara and Mitali.
