Under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha’s “Kalam Ko Salaam” campaign, a review meeting took place to honor Bharat Ratna, Missile Man, and former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on the occasion of his 10th death anniversary, as well as to finalize the arrangements for the “Dr. Kalam Startup Youth Award 2.0” aimed at promising minority youth. This event is being organized under the guidance of the BJP Minority Morcha National President, Jamal Siddiqui.
During the meeting, a working committee consisting of 10 members was formed for the campaign. BJP National General Secretary and Minority Morcha In-Charge Dushyant Gautam, along with President Siddiqui, introduced a QR code for participants to register for the award.
On this occasion, Jamal Siddiqui emphasized Dr. Kalam’s accomplishments, stating, “The purpose of the ‘Kalam Ko Salaam’ campaign is to honor Dr. Kalam’s contributions to India’s progress and to pay our respects to him. Indian Muslims can only achieve success by navigating in Kalam’s boat. The BJP honors all individuals who transcend religion and caste to fortify the nation.” He further remarked that Dr. Kalam will always be cherished in the hearts of Indians as the “People’s President” and the “Missile Man of India,” and that he continues to be a genuine role model for the youth of the nation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dushyant Gautam stated, “The Modi government has elevated the respect for the national flag. Those who predicted that the abrogation of Article 370 would result in rivers of blood were decisively proven wrong by the public, the Parliament, and the realities on the ground. The Modi government has demonstrated that with political determination, the right approach, and the trust of the people, history can be altered—without spilling a single drop of blood.”
He also mentioned, “No administration has done as much to empower women as the Modi government has. Today, there is no sector where women are not involved. Even the retribution for the Pahalgam attack was executed by Indian women. This is only achievable under Modi’s leadership.
We take pride in the fact that under PM Modi’s leadership, India is progressing towards becoming a developed nation.
Jamal Siddiqui informed the media that as part of the “Kalam Ko Salaam” initiative, the Minority Morcha will recognize minority youth who have demonstrated inspiring contributions to society through their innovation, outstanding skills, and entrepreneurial drive. He mentioned that minority youth entrepreneurs interested in applying for the “Dr. Kalam Startup Youth Award 2.0” can do so via the official BJP Minority Morcha website — https://minoritymorcha.bjp.org.
